The all new Sidi CrossFire 2 Motocross Boots are now in stock at GhostBikes. The successor to the hugely popular Crossfire, the Crossfire 2 is the next evolution from Sidi. Sidi have built on everything that they learnt with the first Crossfire boot and have extensively developed every part to make the Crossfire 2 the most advanced, comfortable and protective boot they have ever made.
The Crossfire 2 boots are manufactured using full grain leather with Lorica inserts for better flexibility and comfort. The front part of the foot of the boot is entirely covered by plastic protection panels while the tip of the sole is protected by a steel toe piece. The anatomically shaped heel is manufactured in PU, its particular form was designed to more securely support the heel to reduce twisting. Crossfire utilizes four micro adjustable buckles with indented memory-regulation straps, adjust the strap once and they will remain in the same position each time you ride. All the buckles, straps and retaining clips are easily replaceable. You will note that all four buckles work independently from each other, allowing the boot to fit all shapes of feet and lower legs independently which helps to make each boot that much more comfortable for each individual rider.
The key feature of the Sidi Crossfire boot is the Dual Flex system. The Flex system, with its two circlips that attach the foot of the boot to the bootleg, improves leg flexation and allows for a more natural and correct position on the foot pegs. The second joint is on the bootleg itself, above the ankle joint. This technical improvement has been created for more flexibility; a more comfortable fit and increased adjustment of the boot leg. In this way, the rider can adjust the boot strap at the calf to his personal preference and achieve an improved fit.
